HOLI FOR THE ELDERLY

Holi Hai is a project organised by the Rotaract Club of H.R. College along with the Ananda Yaan Committee.

Twenty-five members of the Club celebrated Holi with 70 senior citizens at the Ananda Yaan Centre in Byculla. To break the ice in the start, and to make the senior citizens feel comfortable, everyone played antakshari. Post that, the RCB held a rangoli competition in which members and senior citizens both made beautiful rangolis together. Following that, a game of ‘passing the parcel’ was played and everyone sang and danced.

Lastly, they played dry Holi together with the coordinating team member from the Dignity Foundation. The senior citizens were given fruits, juice and a memento by RCB. The Club would like to thank Rtn. Ptn. Ekta Shah and Rtn. Chris, without whom this project would not have been possible.
