The International Women’s Association (IWA) Clinic, supported by the Rotary Club of Bombay, held a very successful medical camp on November 28, 2018 at the Clinic’s premises at Fort, opposite New Excelsior Cinema.

The camp was attended by 38 girls aged eight to 17 years from the Convent of Jesus and Mary High School and Junior College, Kharghar. The private bus which ferried them to the clinic was sponsored by St. John’s Ambulance.

Check-ups were conducted by a general practitioner, dentist, gynaecologist, paediatrician and some x-rays were also taken. Homemade poha, a banana, juice, tooth paste and a packet of sanitary napkins were given to each child.

The Clinic is open every weekday from 11 am to 4:30 pm. In the next few weeks, the clinic which now sees footfalls of over 500 persons a month, will start functioning on Saturdays.
