President’s Message

Dear Friends,

I would like to thank Rtn. Biswajit Chakaraborty for all the help he extended towards the Christmas brunch; our heartfelt gratitude to the hosts who made this celebration possible. Around 120 members attended the party, our last fellowship of 2018, and it was marvellous to see the turn-out. Our gratitude to Rtn. Suresh Agarwal for the annual CCI Christmas party which he has been sponsoring for the BY / Night Study Centre kids for eight years now.

We begin the new year with fresh energy. I am pleased to introduce you to our newest Rotarian, Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group.

In another great start to 2019, the Public Awards Committee is presenting awards to various individuals for outstanding work. Professor M M Sharma, our speaker for the day, is one of the recipients who will be honoured today. The Sohrab Godrej Award for Science & Technology will be conferred upon him for his pioneering work in the field of
Chemical Engineering.
