President’s Message

Dear Friends,

I HAVE KNOWN VALLABH BHANSALI FOR long. We both attended the same school, Hindi Vidya Bhavan; our parents have known each other since ages. Let us all draw inspiration from this man with a benevolent heart. As Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Vallabh Bhansali has imbibed this quality and follows it religiously. Thank you Vallabh Bhansali for taking the time to address our club.

I would like to thank our gracious host Rtn. Devoo Kothari for the warm hospitality at the fellowship evening.

We have an action-packed week coming up; mark your calendars. We begin with laying the foundation of the plaque at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya on November 24, thereafter begins the Race for Humanity event on
November 25. The RFH will kick-start with a flag-hoisting ceremony and the singing of the National Anthem at Mahalaxmi Race Course lawns. Thereafter begin the horse racing and other entertainment for the day. The Inter-city forum will be held on November 25 at 6.30 pm.

On November 26, RI President Elect Mark Maloney will address our Club. Kindly attend in large numbers.

Note that our regular meeting of Tuesday, November 27 has been rescheduled to Monday, November 26 and is to be held at The Crystal Room, The Taj Mahal Hotel.
