3D PRINTING WITH PALGHAR INNOVATION LAB

Activity: Rakhi Making with 3D Printing In this activity, our students used 3D printing technology to design and create personalised Rakhis for the Raksha Bandhan festival.

After printing, students added colourful threads and decorative items to complete the Rakhi.

The students of STK Palghar, Daksh Prajapati (Class 8th), made an impressive Rakhi design. Another set of students from Z.P. School Vevoor, Khushi Gowari & Shabnam Raein (Class 8th), also created innovative designs.

This activity helped students understand how 3D printing works and provided a chance to express creativity while celebrating an important cultural festival.

Activity: Dahi Handi Making with 3D Printing In this activity, we used 3D printing to create models of Dahi Handi, the traditional pot used in the festival of Janmashtami.

Students of STK Palghar, Priyanshi Rajbhar and Purvi Rathod (Class 8th), designed the shape of the Dahi Handi using 3D design software. Once printed, they painted and decorated the models to make them look more realistic.

This activity taught students how 3D printing can be used to create traditional objects and was a fun way to explore technology and culture.

Activity: Gearbox Module in Robotics Kit In this activity, our student Omkar Ramdas Bhogade (Class 10th) built and assembled a gearbox module using a robotics kit.

The gearbox is an essential part of a robot as it helps control the speed and torque of the motor. This activity helped students understand the role of gear systems in machines and robotics and how they can improve efficiency in robotic applications.

Activity: Chess Piece Making with 3D Printing Students Nilesh Vishwakarma & Neeraj Dubla (Class 8th, STK Palghar) used 3D printing to create chess pieces.

First, they designed each chess piece on graph paper. After finalising their sketches, they used 3D design software to bring their ideas to life and printed the pieces using a 3D printer.
