Projects Completed:
Durbar Hall office space renovation
Renovation to upgrade the office space and make a green room adjacent to the Durbar Hall are complete. The green room was used by the jazz pianist Richard Bennett during his performance as well as by the stars of the play Love Letters.
Conservation of maps:
We have secured funding of INR 34,00,000 from Hermes for conserving 90-120 maps. This project will be overseen by RCB and we envision it will take about two years.
Events:
A jazz concert was held at the Durbar Hall on January 18th, 2019. The concert was attended by about 80-90 people.
Love Letters, a play starring Shernaz Patel and Rajit Kapur was staged at the Durbar Hall on April 26th, 2019. The play was a huge success with the Durbar Hall being filled to capacity. We also received social media coverage for the same which lead to a number of people calling in to buy donor passes.
