Rotary Club of Bombay started Cotton Green Clinic in November 2016 with Bombay Cotton Merchants & Muccadams Association and with Dr. Batra’s Foundation in the beautiful area of Cotton Green, near Air Force Station.
Now the Cotton Green Clinic runs the following departments: Homeopathy, Dental, Eye, General Physician, Paediatric and Pathology. The clinic was closed due to lockdown at the end of March 2020, and we restarted the GP/ Paediatric services from October 6th, 2020. Homeopathic (Dr. Batra’s) and Dental began in December and the Eye clinic restarted on January 5th, 2021. Pathology restarted from January 29th, 2021.
A group of 35 senior citizens of Ananda Yaan visited the clinic and got treatment free of cost on Friday, March 5th, 2021, ahead of Women’s Day.
31 got their eyes tested, some of them had a refractive error and a retinal problem.
30 patients got treatment from a general physician, medicines given free of cost.
23 senior citizens got consultation in Homeopathy for their back and knee pain.
Consultation and treatment were done following all Covid Norms laid by government.
- Homeopathic clinic is open from 9 am to 5 pm twice a week: 966 patients from December 2020 – April 2021.
- GP and child care is open from 2-5 pm twice a week: 343 in GP and 144 in child care from October 2020 – April 2021.
- Dental Department is open from 9 am to 5 pm twice a week: 359 patients from December 2020 – May 2021.
- The Eye clinic started in January and is open from 9 am to 5 pm : 283 patients treated from January 2021 – May 2021
- Pathology (N.M. Medical) is open from 9 am to 12.30 pm twice a week and we did 45 blood tests from February 2021 – May 2021.
