The Team Partners-In-Service Of The Rotaract Club Of Hinduja College Organised ‘Eye Care’ For The Interactors Of Sir J. J. Girls High School

The Team Partners-In-Service of the Rotaract Club of Hinduja College organised ‘Eye care’ for the Interactors of Sir J. J. Girls High School on December 17th, 2021, to acquaint them with appropriate eye care technique.

Dr. Atul Harikrishna addressed the students accompanied by his colleague Dr. Simran Keshvani. Dr. Atul explained a few basic rules such sleep for eight hours, wash your eyes frequently, do not rub your eyes with dirty hands, blink frequently, have a balanced diet. He also gave them a 20-20 rule – maintain a 20-inch distance from your gadget’s screen, look away from the screen every 20 minutes (look at plants or green objects), focus on a particular object for 20 minutes and look at dawn or dusk for 20 minutes. Then, Dr. Simran Keshvani shared the harmful effects of blue light and its prevention by wearing blue light filter glasses. Interactors then aired their doubts in the questionanswer segment with the speakers.
