A few years ago, Bhavishya Yaan at Colaba school hosted an Australian intern, Grace Gerhard. Grace spent a month teaching English to BY students.
She observed that several students had tremendous potential. Amongst these, Rakesh Thakur stood out as a motivated and capable young student. She decided to support his goals to become a lawyer.
Rakesh recently cleared the law entrance exam and has secured admission to MKLM’s Adhia College of Law. Rtn. Satyan Israni provided guidance to Rakesh all through the process.
Standing by her commitment, Grace has remitted US$ 500 to RCB towards his first-year fees in college and has promised to sponsor his entire college education for the five year law degree course.
