We usually sell old newspapers to raddiwallas. But have we ever considered that the funds so generated can be used for several good causes like providing meals to malnourished children, or providing clothes to the needy? One such unique initiative was carried out by the Interact Committee where school students were asked to collect newspapers from their own house as well as from the neighborhood. The amount collected by selling these newspapers was given to the school’s helping staff. The newspapers, magazines and waste thus collected can also be further recycled. Isn’t this a fun, yet a social as well as an environment caring program? Kudos to all the committee members for this wonderful thought and congratulations to all the kids for making this possible.
