A Dental Check-Up Camp Was Organised For Ananda Yaan’s

A dental check-up camp was organised for Ananda Yaan’s senior members at the Dr E. Moses Road, Worli, on November 18th, 2021. Six volunteers of the Rotaract Club of Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai, conducted the dental screening and counselling of 27 senior citizens.
Periodontal (gums) problems were a major issue. A few people with the tobacco-eating habit were found with lesions on the inner side of their lips and cheeks. Such patients were advised to quit the habit and counselled on how to do so.
Patients were also counselled about daily oral hygiene practices. Patients requiring treatment were referred to Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai.
