An Eye-Opening Session with Bittu Sahgal

On December 10th, 2024, the Kamalnayan Bajaj Hall and Art Gallery hosted an enlightening session with Bittu Sahgal. The event was part of Wild India – a Conservation Photography Exhibition, a collaboration between Pooja Bajaj of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery and the Animal Welfare Committee of the Rotary Club of Bombay.

The session commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Rtn. Vita Dani, Rtn. Ptn. Jalaj Dani, and President Satyan Israni. Attendees were then taken on a guided tour of the exhibition, which featured award-winning photographs curated by the Sanctuary Nature Foundation.

The highlight of the evening was Bittu Sahgal’s engaging talk. He spoke passionately about the intricate interdependence between nature and human life, urging Rotarians to harness their networks and resources to drive meaningful change. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Arise Dastoor.
