Traditionally, the monsoon month of Shravan is considered holy by Hindus who also make meaningful donations during this time. One of the rituals of this time period is the bathing of the Shiv ling idol in milk and milk products. Instead of doing this particular pooja, Rtn. Ptn. Vandana and Rtn. Madhusudan Daga, at the behest of their mother, donated tetrapacks of 1 litre Amul milk to 210 members of Ananda Yaan (in association with Dignity Foundation) instead. Our elderly thanked RCB and blessed the Daga family.
