Assimilation Sundowner

The streets of Kolkata were brought to Mumbai at the lovely terrace of Madhusudan & Vandana Daga. The Daga’s hosted a lovely assimilation fellowship at their beautiful home on a nice & cool Sunday January evening. A first for Rotary – a sundowner!

Vandana, herself from Kolkata left no stone unturned. The warm hospitality of a typical Kolkata Marwari household coupled with Kolkata Street food – puchkas, mudi, chilla, et al was the perfect ambiance for this unforgettable fellowship.

For Gauri and Vijay it was the ideal anniversary celebration amongst good friends and well wishers. The happy couple cut a strawberry gateau amidst claps and cheers!

Enjoying the evening amongst the recently become Rotarians were Samira & Kasimali, Rinku & Vineet, Amishi & Pulin, Vrinda, Meenakshi & Ajai and prospective member Jaimin Jhaveri & wife Meghal. Giving them company were Rotary Stalwarts – Devi & Ramesh, Gauri & Vijay, Sandip, Mukesh, Arti & Arun, Rakhee & Manish, Preeti & Pradeep, Mayuri & Alok, Rekha, Shreelekha & Nandan, Satyan, Devina & Nirav, Malti & Mudit, Rajas & Jyoti, Asha & Rajesh, Jayesh, Avaan & Jimmy and Kavita & Anand.
