HUNGER
Rotary Club of Bombay distributed meals and snacks to 6000 underserved in one week at 26 different locations.
From a small child of three years old to a senior citizen of 83, who does not like surprises? It is seen that when a person gets surprised it hits his dopamine system and a person feels happier, energetic, and gets new positive thoughts for coming times. Six thousand such people got these snack kits to surprise this month. Meals and snacks were a variety of cake-juice, pav bhaji, nuts, chole-rice, dal-roti, sabzi-poori, jalebi-fafda, samosa-kachori, cheese sandwiches, ladoo-barfi, poha-upma, chiwda-chikki, biscuits-cookies to name a few.
The meals snacks were curated keeping the area and age in mind as this drive was done in 26 different locations having infants to elderly.
President Framroze Mehta personally went to many locations to spend some time and spread some joy along with distributing meals and snacks. Rotarian Natasha Treasurywala also joined our President in distribution.
We must take this opportunity to thank some people who made this possible to be done in one week .They personally went to all the locations to ensure the quality of meals and snacks and their efficient distribution.

HEALTH & HYGIENE
As part of the District’s 3H Project which encompasses Hunger, Health and Hygiene, RCB were accompanied by President Naveen Chavda and his team from Rotary Club of Bombay Hills South who undertook to feed four padas across Talwada and Vikramgadh on Saturday, February 6th. Food was distributed to malnourished children food and nutritional supplements in Shanvarpada, Paraspada, Dhodipada and Kadopada.
Rtn. Rhea Bhumgara who had accompanied President Framroze Mehta & Rtn. Homi Katgara also conducted workshops in Feminine Hygiene and distributed reusable sanitary napkins to the local women.
