Skill Development Committee (SDC) has been formulated with the objective of taking forward the yeoman work being carried out by the Bhavishya Yaan (BY) Committee.
SDC aims to counsel and guide the BY Students who complete their SSC with respect to their career options, keeping in mind each student’s strengths and inclinations.
A robust data base would be developed with all the relevant information of the BY Students collated right from 8th standard onwards as well as their personal information.
The data base would also aim to track their scholastic performance in their XII exam as well as their undergraduation. This data base would also be of help to BY as well as the Scholarship Committees.
The data base which would be cloud based is being developed with the assistance of Mr. Niranjan Rao, Infotroopers, the firm which imparts computer education to the BY Students right from the time BY commenced.
After considering various service providers, M/s YoungBuzz (YB) has been retained to carry out career counselling sessions for the BY Students who are in the tenth standard. YB has more than 18 years of career counselling experience with various Schools and is equipped to provide the same in English as well as in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.
Once the disruption caused by COVID 19 is behind us, SDC hopes to be back to working in full swing.
