DHARAMSHALA – 1

(MHADA Flats, Bhoiwada-Parel)

RCB operates a 100-flat Dharamshala dedicated to accommodating cancer patients and their attendants. Our facility offers a supportive environment with complimentary and subsidised accommodation, inclusive of all 3 daily meals, housekeeping services, shuttle to-and-fro the hospital and regular changes of linen and towels.

DHARAMSHALA – 2
(Haffkine, Parel, Mumbai)
RCB has completed furnishing another 183-Flat facility at TATA Memorial Hospitals Haffkine premises for cancer patients.

Objective:
Ensure comfort and care with a nurturing environment where cancer patients and attendants can focus on their well-being without worrying about accommodation logistics.

Number of Beneficiaries: 900 cancer patients + attendants
• Operations at MHADA Dharamshala run at an average of 80% occupancy
• Round the clock housekeeping provided by facility management Company JAN-PRO.
• Round the clock security by RAJ Securities.
• Fully functional kitchen at the premises offering meals at a subsidised cost of Rs.25 per day per person for all 3 full wholesome nutritious meals.
• Free high speed WIFI and cable TV connection provided to all rooms.
• Appointment of a multi-skilled technician offering electrical, plumbing and carpentry services providing regular upkeep and maintenance.
• Free shuttle services between the facility and TATA Memorial Hospital.
• Commencement of Rotary Office and appointment of Full time Executive assisted by 2 part time ECB social workers at the premises.
• Free professional laundry services for linen and towel
• Fortnightly engagement activities with patients through fun games and general lectures over hygiene, food and cleanliness.

Plans for 2025-26

1. Prepare SOPs to achieve operational excellence.

2. Quarterly/ Festival specific programmes engaging cancer patients.

3. Strive to achieve occupancy rate of 90%.

4. Inaugurate and commission Haffkine facility.

Budget for 2025-26: Rs. 160 lakhs

RCB is thankful to HDFC AMC for committing to donate support for OPEX costs for the next 10 years.
