Status of projects completed during the year:
• Housing for Cancer Patients and Families Receiving Treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai: The objective of this project is to provide affordable housing for outof-town cancer patients and their
families, in close proximity to TMH. • Under a formal MoU, MHADA has offered 100 flats to TMH for a period of 30 years. These fully furnished flats, equipped with all basic amenities, are located at Building 5D, 16th–24th floors, in the Bombay Dyeing Mills Compound, Bhoiwada, just ten minutes from TMH.
• At any given time, the facility accommodates 84 patients and their families, along with 12 flats allocated for doctors. The Rotary Club of Bombay provides housekeeping, 24×7 security, and overall maintenance of the premises.
• Since inception, the Dharamshala has supported 1,781 cancer patients and their families. A Rotary Club of Bombay office is situated on-site to ensure the smooth and consistent running of the facility. Occupancy: The Dharamshala
Occupancy: The Dharamshala maintains an average daily occupancy rate of 90% to 95%, with the ultimate aim of reaching 100%.
Nutritious and Hygienic Meals: As of date, the Dharamshala kitchen has served 1,15,015 meals to residents.
Status of ongoing project
The Rotary HDFC TMC Dharamshala provides 84 well-designed flats for patients and their families, and 12 flats for doctors and nurses from TMC. Since its launch, more than 1,781 beneficiaries have received support.
The Dharamshala kitchen, in partnership with the WithArya Foundation, delivers fresh and nutritious meals daily. JanPro offers around-the-clock housekeeping, supervised by a professional facility management team. VCare provides transport services to and from TMC for patients and their families. Raj Securities ensures resident safety through 24/7 security monitoring.
