KNOW YOUR OFFICE BEARER – Manish Reshamwala

Manish Reshamwala began his Rotaract journey in 2008, as a member of the Interact Committee and the Bhavishya Yaan Committee, before becoming the chairman of the latter. Thereafter, he has been the Hon. Treasurer of the club for a period of two years, and this year marks his third year as Hon. Secretary of the club.

Rotarian Manish is a chartered accountant by profession, a partner in his father’s firm, R. C. Reshamwala & Co. Chartered Accountants, and one of the directors of Sparta Consulting Pvt. Ltd. He is and has been convenor of various committees of the Bombay Chartered Accountant Society, and has been instrumental in revising training courses, aimed at the next generation of accountants.

Rtn. Manish’s mother was the General Secretary of Stree Mandal Mumbai, for over 20 years – an organisation devoted to the upliftment and social welfare of women. His father is a P.P. of the Rotary Club of Bombay, and a major source of inspiration to him through his achievements as both, a Rotarian and a chartered accountant.

Additionally, he finds the time to indulge in his hobbies, one of them being travelling, which he enjoys doing with his wife Rakhee, a wealth manager by profession, and daughter Anushka, who is a student at the Cathedral and John Connon School.
