Music and Merriment at Ananda Yaan
On October 11th, a group of 14 enthusiastic singers gave the members of Ananda Yaan E. Moses Road Centre an opportunity to experience the joy of music. The two-hour session brought the underprivileged elders to their feet, dancing to the tunes of popular Bollywood songs.
Among the Rotarians present were Kaushal Mehta (Chairman), Alok Sekhsaria, Madhusudan Daga, Charu Agrawal, PE Manish Reshamwala, Swati Jajodia, PP Ramesh Narayan, and others. Rtn. Alok Sekhsaria addressed the gathering and fondly recalled how the concept of the elder care centres was launched in 2017.
Ananda Yaan, or Mission to Happiness, now operates three centres – Byculla, Mazgaon, and E. Moses Road – serving as a shining example of community service.
The afternoon concluded on a delightful note with a delicious South Indian lunch from the award-winning Mumbai Murugan, leaving everyone with smiles and music in their hearts.
