A parents’ meeting was convened by the Primary Principal of Bhavishya Yaan’s N.M. Joshi Marg campus on June 5th, 2024, targeting parents of students from 1st to 4th standards. The session drew a commendable attendance from the parents.

The Principal’s initiative to engage parents in the meeting was well-received, encouraging active participation. She underscored the importance of parental involvement in the educational journey and emphasised the benefits of Bhavishya Yaan.

The Principal opened the meeting with a warm welcome to all attending parents. She provided insights into the school’s offerings, especially highlighting its tailored approach for 1st standard newcomers and those enrolled in other grades this academic year.

The Principal introduced Bhavishya Yaan, lauding its comprehensive curriculum. This was followed by Mentor Jaya Mam’s address, where she introduced herself and the dedicated team of teachers. She underscored the programme’s emphasis on English, Computer Skills, and Life Skills – all pivotal for shaping a promising future, encapsulated in the name Bhavishya Yaan.

Beyond academics, Bhavishya Yaan supports students beyond the 10th standard with scholarships, internships, and career guidance, aiming to prevent dropouts and facilitate employment post-education.

The programme also enriches student experiences through workshops, field visits, camps, and other educational activities, promoting both academic growth and general knowledge.

Acknowledging the importance of nutrition, Bhavishya Yaan provides fruits to students attending early morning classes, ensuring their holistic development. Mentor Jaya Mam urged parents to ensure regular attendance for their children at Bhavishya Yaan, maximising the benefits of the programme.

In closing, the Principal expressed gratitude to the Bhavishya Yaan team and reiterated key points in Marathi for those parents more comfortable in the regional language.
