Project RED reaches out to 450 girls at G K Marg
PRESIDENT RTN. ARIA OHRI OF Rotary Club Bombay Seacoast had started Project RED in the year 2014 when she joined Rotary. It is a holistic approach to help girls deal with their menstruation. Since then, she has been conducting “Train The Trainer” models for various other Rotary clubs so that they can drive it further for wider reach and impact. On October 20th, she conducted Project RED for 450 girls on behalf of the Rotary Club of Bombay and in Rtn. Aria’s own words, it was one of the best sessions ever. Energy levels were high and the interaction between her and the girls was fruitful. At the end of the session, four girls from the school volunteered to impart the knowledge to
the incoming batch to ensure sustainability of the project in the school.
