Rakhi With Khaki

Rakhi with Khaki was a community service initiative by the Rotaract Club of Hinduja College to celebrate Raksha bandhan with our police force. The event was conducted in three states – Maharashtra (Mumbai) at V.P Road Station, Rajasthan (Jodhpur) at Sardarpura Police Station, and Madhya Pradesh (Gwalior) at Morar Police Thana.
The police were kind enough to cooperate and offer their hospitality. They were happy and emotional when we tied rakhi on their wrists. We felt overwhelmed by the appreciation and response. It has inspired us to do more along these lines in future.
