After each pair had played the others in the group, League tables were formed based on points won. In Group A, the pair of Mihir and Sanjiv brushed aside all challengers as they took the number-one spot with five wins out of five
games. Three teams were tied on points, so the group A runner-up spot went to Anand and Dr. Rajeev based on number of points scored in games. In group B as well, the number one spot was easy – it went to Saumil and Gautam, who won all four of their games. Second place went to the pair of Abhishek and Vivek.

The next phase of the tournament saw the pair of Anand and Dr. Rajeev face off against Abhishek and Vivek in the “3rd place match”. This was won by Anand and Rajeev.

The overall winners were decided in the match where Group A winners Mihir and Sanjiv played Group B winners Saumil and Gautam. After some great rallies and super shots, Saumil and Gautam emerged as the winners.

Trophies were then presented to the winners and runners-up by President Vineet and the other Past Presidents. Sports
Committee chairperson Moy thanked everyone in attendance, who then continued their fellowship over light refreshments.
