RCJC’S Mental Health Push

 In Rotaract

Dear Me 2.0 threw a spotlight on the importance of mental health. The event included activities to help participants to forget their anxieties and overcome stress. There was an icebreaker in the form of positive words for each other, followed by a listing down of things that made participants focus on experiences that made them feel good. These were five things they liked about themselves, four places they would like to go back to, three things they are proud of,
two things they would never forget and one thing that keeps them going!

Then, participants shared things that they were grateful for and, in the next activity, destroyed their insecurities symbolically by tearing up pieces of paper on which they were listed. Finally, a talk on the importance of living a happy life and reminding everyone to phone a friend or someone they had lost touch with. This walk down a happy
memory lane combined with the support of their peers left everyone in smiles.
