Rtn. Mudit and Malti Jain Host Fifth Mini Fellowship Dinner

The Assimilation Committee held its fifth Mini-Fellowship Dinner on February 25th, 2016, at the swanky and tastefully done, Carmichael Road family residence of Rotarian Mudit and RotaryAnne Malti Jain. The Jains went to town in giving the Committee an evening to remember – with the sumptuous spread and drinks and the lip-smacking desserts! They even presented Rotary paraphernalia, decoratively co-mingled with beautiful flowers and colourful ties, to create the complete rotary theme – ‘A Touch of Blue’.

The setting was surreal, with the greatest attention to detail paid by the hostess, down to matching her pretty colourful skirt with our host’s spectacles! The highlight of the evening was the ‘Gateway of India Rotary Cake’, which was a treat to both – the eyes and the palate! It looked resplendent with the four way test, the logo and the 111th Birthday of Rotary as the icing! The cake cutting was done with the amazing and gracious hosts, Rtn. Mudit and Malti, President Dr. Sonya Mehta, our longest serving Rotarian – Dr. Adi Dastur, our newest Rotarian Chris Bluemell and Dr. Nayna Dastur, Director and Rtns. Manoj Patodia and Mahesh Khubchandani, Co- Chairs of the Assimilation Committee.
