Seminar on Global Grants

The Rotary Club of Juhu, Mumbai, hosted a seminar on Global Grants and The Rotary Foundation on May 5th in Mumbai. Over a hundred delegates were present from various Rotary Clubs from District 3141. The Rotary Club of Bombay was presented by PP Rtn. Pradeep Saxena, Rtn. Jaymin Jhaveri and Rtn. Mudit Jain.
Topics covered included how to get Rotarians to donate to TRF and how to apply for Global Grants. Additional topics included getting CSR funds from corporates for the Rotary Foundation of India (RFI) and its multiplier effect, and the benefits corporates would get in outsourcing CSR activities to Rotary. The importance of sustainability and stewardship was also stressed upon as was keeping records of Global Grants.
