We had an interactive storytelling session for primary kids at G K Marg on February 8th by Sarita Shetty, a passionate storyteller and writer. She is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives through the stories that she tells or writes. Thus her session was about ‘The Weightlifting Princess’. Through this, she conveyed a powerful message of believing in your dreams no matter what and working towards them. The story is written by Sowmya Rajendran and equally wonderfully illustrated by @ debasmitadasgupta. This was followed by the older children making vision boards and then reading aloud while the younger children doodled images from the story.
