The Rotaract Club of Sydenham College (RCSC)
The Rotaract Club of Sydenham College (RCSC) has a new event named ‘Let’s Eco brick’. Eco bricks is a plastic packed bottle with used plastic to set density to create a reusable building block. It can be used to create modular items, furniture, garden walls and other structures. Meaning, your leftover plastic is going into creating something new rather than going into landfills and eventually into oceans.
Where do eco-bricks go?
Here, at RCSC, we are collecting these bricks to create a shed for animals, for creating furniture, a wall and a fence depending on the number of bricks collected.
Ecobricks are a sustainable way to reuse nonbiodegradable plastic waste. Hence, it keeps the plastic out of the ecosystem preventing the contamination of the environment.
RCSC has taken the initiative to make a shed for animals, small furniture, garden fence and other structures, based on the number of eco bricks received.
