RCB is probably the Rotary Club that all Rotarians in India’s business capital aspire to join. It’s not only one of the oldest clubs in Mumbai city but with 313 members as of the start of Rotary year 2016-2017 is also one of the most diverse. 258 classifications have been loaned to members and women comprise 16% of the total membership. The mix of amazing Rotarians ensures that fellowship and sharing of experiences are rich and RCB gives back to the community in creative ways. Sample this: our club has 116 industrialist members while 41 Rtns. are financers or bankers. Another 38 Rtns. are doctor’s while 25 are lawyers. Many others hail from service industries varied from arts, architecture to media. Rtns. also give generously of their time, share their talent and their resources whether monetary or otherwise to help further the common good.

This is why life for the President becomes easy – they help and put their shoulders to the wheel to share and push RCB to greater glory.

I am touched by the love and affection that I receive as the President and the number of people that voluntarily
come forward to help. I look forward to your indulgence to make RCB reach even greater heights as we step into the new year and make Rotary an enriching experience for all stakeholders.
