Wunderkinds Abound At RCB

A few weeks ago, President Shernaz Vakil wrote about the varied community service projects undertaken by Rotarian children. While editing our Know Your Rotarian column on Rtn. Anand Dalal this week, we came across another gem, his
daughter Naisha.

We’ll let her proud papa say it in his words:

“Naisha is currently at Grade 9 at Bombay International School… Naisha is part of ACE – All Care for Everyone, an NGO that her friends and she founded when they were only four or five years old. From bake sales and small cosmetics sales to raise money for the underserved children of our society, ACE is now a formal NGO.”

“Their projects include a raincoat project where, in 2020 and 2021, they raised money and made raincoats which they then distributed to street children. They have now embarked on an ambitious Book Club project – a mobile library that will attempt to inculcate the love of reading to underserved children. The volunteers will be grade 9 kids who will assimilate with the underserved kids and play games besides reading to them.”

Snaps for Naisha! May her tribe increase.
