BY kids celebrate a joyful Christmas Carnival at CCI
In December, all six Bhavishya Yaan schools start preparing for their annual Christmas party at the iconic Cricket Club of India. It is the time of the year when BY classes become most important for these municipal school children. Also, they know that they would be going to the CCI Christmas Carnival, and surely, no one wants to be left behind!
The event is something the children excitedly look forward to — nearly two hours of sheer fun. It is like a Christmas ‘theme park’ made available to them with rides, food, music, dance, and gifts. Close to 800-900 students of BY attended the Christmas Carnival this year at the Cricket Club of India, spread between the six schools over two days.
On the way home this year, snack boxes and backpacks were handed over to each and every child filled with goodies. On behalf of Bhavishya Yaan, we thank Rtn. Suresh Agarwal who has been hosting this wonderful Christmas party for the children year after year for over 10 years.
Lighthouse and Salaam Baalak kids enjoy the carnival at CCI
The Child Welfare Committee of RCB extends its gratitude to Ms. Manisha Ahuja, a mentor from the
NGO Vidya, for enrolling Lighthouse and Salaam Baalak kids for the CCI Christmas carnival. The children had a delightful afternoon at the CCI Club, accompanied by four teachers and six mothers.
Tattoos appeared to be a favourite among the tiny tots, who eagerly showed off their arms adorned with Santa and Christmas tree designs. The moonwalker and mini train kept them entertained, and their faces gleamed with joy at the sight of popcorn and cotton candy. The DJ had them all on stage, dancing to his tunes, and the afternoon concluded with a delicious snack box and gifts. After all the jumping around, they were hungry and looked forward to the treat!
