Lighthouse students enjoy storytelling

Megha, a volunteer storyteller at Lighthouse Project, recently engaged the children with two captivating tales. The first story explored the fascinating lifecycle of a caterpillar, helping expand the children’s vocabulary with new words like ‘stomachache’ and ‘cocoon’.
The second narrative focused on Mahatma Gandhi’s life journey. This story was chosen to complement the children’s recent visit to Mani Bhavan, helping them better understand and retain their museum experience. A drawing competition based on these themes will be held in class to reinforce their learning
