A Traditional Parsi Nite For All

 In Fellowship

THE FELLOWSHIP COMMITTEE PRESENTED THE PARSI NITE ON AUGUST 19TH, 2022. The fellowship, which was held at the historic 150-year-old Allbless Baug, was co-hosted by 24 Rotary members and attended by over 120 Rotarians and their partners. A traditional auspicious toran greeted all at the entrance. Most of the attendees were dressed in traditional gara embroidered saris and outfits and the duglee. The guests enjoyed cocktails, lively music, and dancing in an elegant reception room with beautiful chandeliers and portraits of Parsis from a bygone era. The highlight was the authentic sit-down Parsi bhonu which was appreciated by all. There was a special menu planned for vegetarians as well. President Vineet Bhatnagar, attired in a duglee and topi, welcomed the guests and thanked the Fellowship Committee for organising the evening as well as the gracious hosts on behalf of all those who were present.
