Annual General Body Meeting
President Rtn. Shailesh Haribhakti
At last week’s meeting, President Rtn. Shailesh Haribhakti called the Annual General Body Meeting to order. He announced that the Board has unanimously approved a proposal from PP Rtn. Sandip Agarwalla to challenge a candidate chosen by the District Governor Nomination Committee for the post of District Governor Nominee 2017-18 for Rotary International District 3140. He wished Rtn. Sandip luck in winning the challenge and requested past presidents and Club members to extend their support to him.
Resolution for adoption by the General Body passed unanimously.

He then moved on to the meeting’s agenda and proposed the following resolutions:
Consider the Annual Report of the Rotary Club of Bombay under the leadership of PP Nirav Shah and the resolution that is proposed is to consider and if thought fit, to adopt the report of the Rotary Club of Bombay for the year July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014.

Accounts of the Club to consider and if thought fit, to adopt the final audited accounts of the Rotary Club of Bombay for the year July 1, 2013- June 30, 2014.

Reappointment of auditors with a remuneration of R20,000 (exclusive of service tax) to consider and if thought fit, to adopt the final audited accounts of the Rotary Club of Bombay for the year July 1, 2013- June 30, 2014.

The next point on the agenda was for the election of officers for the Rotary year 2015-16 and directors for the Rotary year 2015-17.
The following valid nominations were received, scrutinised by the Board of Directors and found in order to be a part of President Elect Rtn. Dr. Sonya Mehta’s team for the Rotary year 2015-16:
