The Outreach department, the socially-visual arm of the Bombay YMCA, has touched and changed the lives of scores of people from the time it started activities. The poor, destitute, downtrodden of society are part of this very important department.

Due to the coronavirus this year, we were unable to do any activities for the Night Study Centre. Centres were closed and many students have gone to their native places.

This year the Vocational Training Centre was able to function for only three months from January to March ’21. We were able to reach out to 378 students for the various courses during these three months.

A Women’s Day Programme for ORD & VTC Staff was celebrated on March 8th, 2021, at YMCA ORD. Around 14 Staff from VTC attend the programme. Some of the students showcased their talents by reciting poems and singing. The programme was fun for the students and filled with games for the participants.

YMCA was able to support the community in Kamathipura with dry ration kits, and cooked meals served to over 700 families.
