Interactors Lead the Way in Environmental Action
On July 18th, 2025, the Rotaract Club of Mumbai conducted an insightful session at The Scholar High School for students of Classes 6, 7, and 8. Led by Ms. Kunti Oza, the session focused on waste management, proper disposal of plastic, and the Mera Aangan Saaf campaign.
Ms. Oza explained the importance of segregating waste into dry and wet bins, and how everyday plastic—like milk or vegetable packets—can be collected and recycled. She also encouraged students to keep their surroundings clean, including school premises, residential buildings, and nearby areas.
Using posters and placards from previous awareness drives, Ms. Oza inspired students to take action. They pledged to begin collecting milk packets every Friday and spread awareness within their homes and communities.
