KBC At Lighthouse For Republic Day

A poem about our tricolour, some lesser-known facts on India and a skit on the Indian Constitution were just some of the items showcased by Lighthouse students at the virtual Republic Day event held on January 26th, 2022.

The highlight of the programme was the much-awaited Lighthouse quiz modelled on Kaun Banega Crorepati. Teams of students from kindergarten to Class 6 competed in ageappropriate rounds.

PP Ramesh Narayan sportingly offered to be the ‘expert’ for the Ask the Rotarian lifeline and aided a class 6 student choose the right answer. At the end, special birthday wishes were conveyed to little Aeden Treasurywala whose family sponsored gifts and treats for all our students. Parents, students and senior Rotarians like President Shernaz Vakil, our chairman Rtn. Rajesh Shah, co-chair Rtn. Charu Agarwal, PP Preeti Mehta, Rtn. Natasha Treasurywala and Rtn. Ptn.
Ekta Shah celebrated the day together.
