8,000 plus villagers will get access to safe, drinking water

ROTARY CLUB OF BOMBAY MEMBERS visited water-starved villages in the Jalna district of Maharashtra on October 19th.

In association with Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) who are carrying out watershed management programmes in these villages, RCB pledged to provide safe drinking water in 10 of these villages by the end of March, 2019.

RCB has involved the Rotaractors of HR College and Rotary Club of Jalna to help it in this project. The Jal Jeevan
programme of RCB takes on yet another meaningful project, transforming the lives and health of over 8,000 villagers
living in rural India.

A big thank you to Rajubhai Barwale and RC Jalna for hosting us with such warmth and hospitality. Additionally,
the tremendous work which RC Jalna is doing in the field of plastic surgeries, is truly inspiring.
