Krishna Janmashtami Celebrated with Joy at Lighthouse

At Lighthouse, children from Jr. KG to Std. V marked Krishna Janmashtami in simple yet deeply meaningful ways. The youngest enjoyed storytelling, colouring pictures of baby Krishna, and a lively dance inspired by the Dahi Handi tradition. Older students began with an Aarti, listened to the story of Krishna’s birth, shared their interpretations, and ended the celebration with chocolates served from a beautifully decorated pot.

The event was filled with laughter, music, and shared moments of joy, reflecting both the spirit of the festival and the values of togetherness. Through such celebrations, The Lighthouse Project continues to guide children’s growth in knowledge, creativity, and spirit, lighting their paths one festive story at a time.
