Lighthouse Began Its Christmas Celebrations With the K.G. Class Hearing Jesus Christ’s Origin Story.

Lighthouse began its Christmas celebrations with the K.G. class hearing Jesus Christ’s origin story. The little ones then sang popular carols and learned how to make brown-paper Rudolphs and Santa.

Standards 1 and 2 enjoyed making a paper snowman and drew various Christmas symbols. They then played Christmas Bingo in a way that enhanced their vocabulary, for which they won prizes.

The older children from standards 3 to 5 explored lesser-known facets of the festival. Classes were interspersed with
games like blindfold drawing and a spin the wheel speaking activity centered on Christmas symbols.

Students also learned the meaning of the phrase – ‘spirit of Christmas’ and Christmas greetings in various languages.
Each child was then encouraged to make a poster showcasing what s/he had imbibed over the week.
