Note From President Shernaz Vakil
WELCOME THE SATELLITE CLUB OF RCB
Last week, our very own Rotarian, Dr. Indu Shahani spoke to us about her tryst with the young and eager and her connection with three generations, from baby boomers through millennials to Gen Z.
She spoke how Gen Z were responsible trustworthy and reliable, inspite of their air of over-confidence and studied indifference.
I have always believed that the young shape our future and it is important to enlist them into any project to get a
fresh and uncomplicated perspective.
It is therefore with great excitement and joy that I am pleased to announce that we have 15 young members joining us as part of the RCB Satellite Club.
Thanks to the efforts of PP Nowroze Vazifdar and PP Nandan Damani, we have a group of young enthusiasts who will bring passion and untainted compassion to our initiatives.
They will bring their Metaverse and teach us the wonders of Blockchain and AI and virtual reality and transform our world.
Rotary needs the young to rejuvenate and enliven itself.
It can no longer be a stagnant organisation.
We should do everything to keep it relevant and alive and there is no better way than to enlist the young.
With their optimism and energy, they will bring a fresh perspective to some of our well-worn projects.
Welcome, Satellite Club of RCB!
