RCB and Interact Club collaborate to Visit an Old Age Home

On November 22nd, 2024, the Rotary Club of Bombay, in collaboration with the Interact Club of Sir. J.J. Girls High School, Fort, and Team Muskaan, visited the King George Memorial Old Age Home in Mahalaxmi.

The event was wholeheartedly supported by the school’s teachers, Miss Waheeda, Miss Ayesha, and Miss Zeba, who guided the team from the beginning to the end.

A group of 15 Interactors and 15 Team Muskaan members participated in this meaningful visit. The primary objective was to raise awareness among the students about the challenges faced by the elderly, particularly those who are not properly cared for.

The students showcased their talents through various dance performances and songs, while Team Muskaan also presented their own talents.

To conclude the event, the 50 elderly residents were given snacks and small gift packages containing a hand towel, coconut oil, and petroleum jelly, as well as gifts for the staff of the old age home.
