Warm Fellowship at the 4th Assimilation Committee Dinner
Rotarian couple Pritam and Manjula Sanghai graciously hosted the 4th Assimilation Committee Dinner at the Bombay Gymkhana on the eve of 23rd January. In keeping with the motive of familiarizing new Rotarians with existing ones through cordial mingling, RCB’s fourth such event achieved just that. There was a happy mix of Rotarians and RotaryAnnes and all present enjoyed the drinks, the Gymkhana’s sumptuous fare and most importantly, the warm camaraderie with each other. Present were President Dr. Sonya Mehta and Bomi Framroze, PP Harry and Biba Singh, PP Gul Kripalani, PP Kekoo Kavarana, PP Sandip Agarwalla, PP Nowroze and Niloufer Vazifdar, and Rtns with R/annes: Harkin Chatlani and Aparna, Preeti and Gautam Mehta, Hiren and Bijal Kara, Manoj and Nandita Patodia, Hoshang and Binaifar Nazir, Huzaifah and Ummehaani Bagasrawala, Rajesh Shah, Mahesh Khubchandani, Srinivasan and Jaya Prasad, Jamshyd and Delna Vazifdar, Mihir and Laesha Sagar and Anand Shah.
The fun evening started with a round of self- introductions and the President thanking the hosts for their gracious gesture which included cake-cutting to mark the occasion. The rest of the evening was spent amid conversations and laughter as Rotarians got to get better acquainted with one another. However, it was noted that a number of members reneged on their commitment without intimation, which is not in the spirit of RCB. All invitees to future Rotary Fellowship/Mini Fellowship events are requested to take the RSVP with greater obligation. RCB encourages more Rotarians to come forward and host such events as these strengthen the essence of Fellowship. Those interested in hosting the same may please contact the Assimilation Committee.
