“Accurate” German Cooking In Jerusalem

RC Jerusalem was also founded by James Wheeler Davidson, in fact on the same trip, a couple of weeks ahead of RC Bombay. Since last year, both our Clubs are also officially ‘Sister Clubs’. Their lunch meetings are held on Wednesdays and cover a wide bandwidth right from spiritual to economic topics.

On January 12th this year, German-born and now Israeli Masterchef Tom Franz gave his insights on the culture and business between Israel and Germany. In fact, after winning Israeli Masterchef in 2013, Franz has taken the culinary world by storm. His combination of modern cooking techniques, traditional German fare, and kosher food wowed the judges of the show, with one of them praising him as “accurate in a way that only a German can be.”

Franz is currently back again cooking on television and for magazines, and he also accepts invitations to events. He has postponed plans for a culinary upscale restaurant or an innovative snack chain because of his five small children.

It is very possible that both RC Jerusalem together with RC Bombay will be “cooking” something together in future!
