Art Online For G K Marg

The Rotary Club of Bombay thanks its volunteer art teachers Ms Urvi Shah and Ms Divya in their commitment to tutor the children of G K Marg in art, online.

A successful architect and interior designer, teaching art is a passion for Urvi. Thus, she has been teaching art to underprivileged children through Bhavishya Yaan for the last four years.

Divya is a corporate lawyer working with a media agency. She says, “I love my work, but I wanted to do something that would help someone develop their skills. A little encouragement and motivation can boost children’s confidence which is likely to enhance their skill.

It will also help them realise their self-worth which is such an important part of growing up. I’m happy I can play that part in their life through our Saturday art and craft class. It’s been wonderful to be associated with Bhavishya Yaan and I look forward to getting back to our classroom soon.”
