RCB, in collaboration with Dignity Foundation, runs two elder day care centres at Byculla and Dr. E Moses Rd. The centres provide a platform for senior citizens to interact socially, build a support network, boost their self-esteem and have a carefully planned out roster of activities that deal with their health, wellness and happiness.

In a unique partnership, the AY Committee of RCB, Rotary District 3141, International Advertising Association, and Campaign Magazine together created a campaign to highlight that what senior citizens wanted most was the time of young adults.

As part of Fall Prevention Awareness Week (September 22 – 28), 250 underprivileged elders experienced an infotainment evening dedicated to their health and wellness.

Ananda Seva is a unique opportunity for Rotarians and friends to celebrate special days like birthdays and wedding anniversaries as also death anniversaries of their family members, with our AY members by sponsoring events of their choice.

Our Ananda Yaan Centres had their first ever Sports Day on February 22nd, 2020 at Botley Boy ground, Byculla. Over 100 senior citizens participated on the Sports Day. The ISME Rotaractors arranged for 10 fun-filled races.
