District 3141 bonds at the Pre-Pets

As 425 Rotarians, their partners, and children, all of the Alpha family descended on Goa, the Taj Convention Centre and Resort rolled out the red carpet to welcome us. From October 16th to 18th, over two nights and three days, A-listers set a blistering pace of events, learning, games, food fest, entertainment, and leisure in a secure bubble of double vaccinated camaraderie and bonhomie. Lasting bonds of relationships and friendships were renewed and newly made.

The High Stepper Alpha Pre- PETS was a success beyond imagination due to everyone’s enthusiastic participation, unconditional commitment, and open-mindedness.

Great efforts were made by a number of Alpha teams in ensuring that everything was picture perfect which led to the record number of attendees. Amongst the attendees were RI President Shekhar Mehta, RI Director Mahesh Kotbagi and First Lady of Zone 4 – Amita Kotbagi, TRF Trustee Gulam Vahanvaty and Past RI Director Kamal Sanghvi. Such an assembly of luminaries is unprecedented at any Pre-Pets. District 3141 enjoys a high status, and we will ensure that we achieve the “highest” position in the Rotary world during the Alpha year.

This will only be possible because of the abilities and sense of purpose of the entire A Team. The year will be hallmarked with a “think big” overarching theme, use of technology, effective communication, meaningful and impactful projects, vibrant fellowship with the family of Rotary, a healthy growth in membership and of course significant giving to the Rotary Foundation.
