Gender Equality – Upcoming projects

The Gender Equality Committee has laid down its plans for the year 2018-2019. It will continue with most of the previous work and has proposed a new plan called Project Red.

The objective of this project will be to distribute sanitary napkins to all 353 girls from Grades 6-10 in the five
Bhavishya Yaan schools. The project will begin with an orientation program involving screening of an AV followed
by distribution of packets of sanitary napkins to each girl along with an illustrated comic book explaining about
menstruation with pre and post care and most importantly, disposal of sanitary pads.
