Hinduja Rotaractors Treat Senior Citizens Of Ananda Yaan To A Day Out

The Rotaract Club of Hinduja, together with the Rotary Club of Bombay, recently organised a fun-filled outing for the members of Ananda Yaan. Dubbed “Visit to Pagoda,” the annual trip took place at the Global Vipassana Pagoda in
Borivali.

The Global Vipassana Pagoda in Mumbai is a beautiful monument that pays tribute to Gautama Buddha and his teachings. During their visit, the members of Ananda Yaan learned about the Buddha’s life, vipassana, the pagoda’s history, and several other related topics such as its construction, the materials used, and the significance of the Bodhi Tree.

The day was not just about learning, as the seniors were also treated to a sumptuous lunch, which they enjoyed while bonding and creating cherished memories together.

Overall, it was a wonderful day out for the members of Ananda Yaan, thanks to the efforts of the Hinduja Rotaractors and the Rotary Club of Bombay.
